Frauen mit dieser Körperform neigen besonders stark dazu, im unteren Körperbereich Fettreserven aufzubauen. Typisch für den Birnentyp ist auch die Tendenz zu Wassereinlagerungen im Gewebe. Die Folge: Cellulite. Der „Birnentyp“ sollte bei der Diät darauf achten, wenig Salz zu sich zu nehmen – fördert Wassereinlagerung und Cellulite! Aber auch Zucker ist Gift, wegen der Cellulite-Bildung. In Verbindung mit Fett ist Zucker sinnlos für eine Gewichtsreduktion.
